MES holds another exercise for employees of Penitentiary Service of Ministry of Justice (video, photo)

The Ministry of Emergency Situations held an exercise for the employees of the Penitentiary Service of the Ministry of Justice in Umbakı penitentiary complex.

The relevant staff and equipment of the State Fire Control and State Fire Protection Services of MES were involved in the exercise. The exercise aimed at instilling the rules of behavior during emergency situations and fire accidents in the employees of Penitentiary Service, further improving the activity of fire protection units in case of fires in such facilities and increasing the professional skills of personnel on rescue.

In the theoretical part of the exercise, MES employees gave detailed information about the necessary rules of behavior in emergency situations and fire accidents, as well as evacuation measures. Also, the rules of using primary fire extinguishers were demonstrated to the participants of the event, and questions were answered.

In the practical part of the exercise, after the "Alarm" signal was given during the simulated fire accident, the fire protection units of the State Fire Protection Service quickly arrived at the scene, evacuated the persons in the facility from the "dangerous area", conducted agile reconnaissance at the "site," and "extinguished the fire".

The results were analyzed, relevant instructions were given, and awareness-raising materials were presented to the employees responsible for the fire safety of the facility at the end of the exercise.
