"112" hotline
By calling the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, it is possible to prevent an accident, save people who have an accident, and reduce financial losses.
You can contact the 112 hotline in the following cases:
- when fire, explosion, construction, and industrial accidents, or other natural and man-made emergencies occur or there is a threat of them;
- when left helpless;
- when assistance is needed in water bodies;
- when a serious traffic accident occurs;
- when radioactive, chemical, and other toxic substances or containers used for their transportation, as well as explosives and ammunition, are discovered (or lost);
- when it is impossible to contact the other services (102, 103, 104).
The person calling the "112" hotline must provide detailed information about the accident, and try to answer the operator's questions.
At any time of the day, calls to the hotline "112" are received free of charge from landline telephones (ATS), all types of payphones and mobile operators, and relevant structures are notified.
