A volcano is a geological structure that erupts lava, volcanic gases, and stones from the depths of the Earth and is formed in the upper layer of the Earth.

What to do before a volcanic eruption:

- follow the news about the expected volcanic eruption;

- have an emergency pack handy with a certain amount of food, water, medical supplies, important documents, money, a flashlight, and warm clothes;

- unconditionally comply with the requirements of the relevant institutions regarding relocation;

- close the doors and windows of the house, smoke ducts when a warning is issued about an ash eruption;

- keep the car in the garage;

- keep animals indoors.

What to do in case of a volcanic eruption:

- protect yourself from the stones and ash of the volcano;

- volcanic eruptions can also cause floods. Therefore, stay away from nearby rivers and go to higher places.

What to do after a volcanic eruption:

- close your mouth and nose tightly to protect them from ash;

- wear protective glasses to avoid burns;

- if the surroundings are covered with ash, do not drive the car, this will cause it to break down;

- clean the roof of the house from ash so that it is not damaged.
