MES State Fire Protection Service held fire-tactical exercise

The Sumgayit city State Fire Protection Department of the State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a fire-tactical exercise on the topic of "Fire extinguishing and organization of evacuation of people" at Sumgayit City Hospital No. 1 in Sumgayit city.

The aim of the exercise was to further improve the interaction of fire protection units involved in the area in the event of a fire at the hospital, to strengthen the professional skills of personnel in extinguishing possible fires at such facilities, as well as to increase the knowledge of the relevant personnel of the facility on the initial rules of behavior during fires.

During the exercise, the fire protection units of the State Fire Protection Service, which promptly arrived at the scene of a simulated fire in the hospital, evacuated employees from the "dangerous area", conducted rapid reconnaissance at the "fire" site, and "extinguished the fire", while the rescue team of the Ministry's Sumgayit Regional Center "rescued the injured persons" from the area.

A total of 7 units of equipment and 36 employees of the Sumgayit city State Fire Protection Department of the State Fire Protection Service and the Sumgayit Regional Center were involved in the exercise.

After the successfully conducted exercise, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant tasks were assigned.
