Appeal from Ministry of Emergency Situations to the population regarding expected unstable weather conditions in some regions

According to the National Hydrometeorological Service, heavy rainfall is forecast in some areas over the coming days. Short-term flash floods are expected on some mountain rivers, accompanied by thunderstorms and occasionally strong winds.

Taking into account the above-mentioned, the Ministry of Emergency Situations once again reminds of the relevant safety rules.

It is recommended to stay away from areas prone to floods and flash floods to protect yourself from floods and flash floods that may be caused by heavy rainfall, and to immediately climb to a nearby height when faced with this danger.

To protect yourself from lightning, it is recommended to unplug electrical appliances, avoid talking on the phone. Also, considering that people visit beaches for recreation during the summer season, we remind you that it is dangerous to enter the sea during strong winds. Users of small-sized vessels should take into account that venturing out to sea in such weather conditions is banned.
