Chronicle of the past week (video)

The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan continues to carry out its responsibilities, including activities aimed at protecting the population and territories from natural and man-made emergencies.

Thus, over the past week, based on calls received by the “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, rescue operations were carried out by the relevant agencies of the Ministry in response to 136 fire accidents, 38 cases of helplessness and 4 traffic accidents. As a result of the quick and urgent measures taken, the fires were extinguished operatively and people's lives were saved.

In total, over the past week, the forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations rescued 48 people, including 10 minors. The bodies of 9 people were handed over.
