Event on development of Azerbaijani language held at MES Academy
The Public Relations Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the MES Academy organized an event on the use and development of the Azerbaijani language in accordance with the requirements of the times in the context of globalization.
The event was attended by employees of the Ministry's Public Relations Department, professors and cadets of the MES Academy, and an employee of the Institute of Linguistics of ANAS, Doctor of Philology, Professor Sevinj Aliyeva.
The aim of the event was to discuss the contemporary problems and future development prospects of the Azerbaijani language in a globalized world, as well as the correct application of the requirements of the norms and rules of the language.
It was stated at the event that during the entire period when Great Leader Heydar Aliyev led our republic, the development of our native language was always in the focus of attention at the state level. The mentioned progressive approach is being successfully continued by the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev. In this context, the importance of the Decree "On the State Program for the Use of the Azerbaijani Language in accordance with the Requirements of the Times in the Context of Globalization and the Development of Linguistics in the Country" signed by Mr. President on May 23, 2012, was discussed, and it was noted that the implementation of the aforementioned historical document was an important event in the development of the Azerbaijani language.
The participants of the event were provided with extensive information about the history of the development of the Azerbaijani language, its enrichment in accordance with the requirements of the time, and the challenges faced at this time, as well as the communication activities of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the norms and principles of using the language during these activities.
