The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about an explosion in a private house in Fatmayi village of Absheron district.

In response to the information, the forces of the MES State Fire Protection Service were immediately deployed to the area.

While assessing the operational conditions at the scene, it was determined that an explosion, which did not result in a fire, had occurred in an auxiliary building with a total area of 10 sq m, adjacent to a private residential house.

As a result of the explosion, the ceiling of the corridor of the auxiliary building collapsed in an area of 4 sq m, injuring 2 people.

MES forces took necessary safety measures at the scene.

The incident is being investigated by the relevant agencies.
