The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in an open area on Babek Avenue, Nizami district, Baku.

In response to the information, the forces of the MES State Fire Protection Service were immediately involved in the area.

Thanks to the quick intervention of firefighters, the fire that broke out in an open area was extinguished in a short time, preventing it from expanding and spreading to the surrounding area.

As a result of the fire, 2 hectares of brush and wood waste burned.

The surrounding areas, including the wooded area, were protected from the fire.
