Information of MES’s Press-service (video)

The "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a collision between a fuel-carrying vehicle and a train in Haji Zeynalabdin settlement of Sumgayit city.

In response to the information, the forces of the Sumgayit city Fire Protection Department of the MES State Fire Protection Service were immediately deployed to the site.

During the accident, the fuel that spilled from the fuel-carrying vehicle into the surrounding area was washed away as part of safety measures, eliminating the potential fire hazard.

An investigation into the incident is underway by the relevant agencies.
