The "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about the discovery of ammunition in Absheron district.
A rapid response team for demining of the MES Special Risky Rescue Service was immediately dispatched to the scene.
After appropriate security measures were taken in the area together with law enforcement officers, it was determined that, the ammunition discovered during the inspection of the scene were 2 units of F-1 hand grenades and 1 unit of RGD-5 hand grenade, 3 units of UZRGM-2 fuses, 67 units of 5.45 mm shells, 1 unit of 7.62 mm shell, 4 units of 9 mm shells, 2 units of AK-74 assault rifles and 1 unit of Makarov pistol.
The ammunition was removed from the area and taken away by specialists of the Special Risky Rescue Service rapid response team for neutralization.
No other hazardous or suspicious items were found during the additional search at the scene and in the surrounding area.
