The forces of the Ministry of Emergency Situations were deployed to the areas to eliminate the damage caused by the intense rains in Baku city and Absheron district based on the calls received on the "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Thus, the forces of the Ministry's State Fire Protection Service, Special Risky Rescue Service and Baku Regional Center were involved in areas to remove the water from the flooded places, as well as to evacuate the people who needed help to a safe area in some addresses.

As a result of the measures taken, the water was removed in a number of addresses, and 8 people (3 of whom were minors), who needed help, were evacuated to a safe area.

At present, water removing and other safety measures are being taken.
