Military oath-taking of young cadets and graduation ceremony held at MES Academy (video, photo)

On October 4, the military oath-taking of young cadets and graduation ceremony took place at the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

The ceremony was attended by the Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, deputy ministers and officials of the Ministry, members of the Public Council under the MES, teachers and professors of the MES Academy, cadets and their parents, and public representatives.

First, the participants laid flowers at the monument to the National Leader Heydar Aliyev outside the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and paid tribute to the National Leader.

After the State Anthem of the Republic of Azerbaijan was performed, a minute of silence was observed in memory of our martyrs who died for the independence, territorial integrity, and sovereignty of our country.

Then the flag of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations was ceremonially brought to the square.

Then the newly admitted cadets of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations took the military oath.

Addressing the ceremony, Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov congratulated the cadets, graduates, and their parents. The Minister said that all times when the Great Leader led our country went down in history in gold letters as stages of socio-economic growth and progress. The Great Leader, who skillfully brought his homeland and people out of the very difficult trials of history, was always particularly sensitive to the development of our national education.

Thanks to the progressive reforms carried out by the decent follower of Heydar Aliyev's political course, Supreme Commander-in-Chief, President Ilham Aliyev, our national education was formed at the level of modern world standards and makes an important contribution to the comprehensive development of our country. In this context, Minister K. Heydarov emphasized the relevant Decree of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan on the establishment of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the participation of the head of the country in the opening ceremony of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations on December 27, 2013, and noted that thanks to the attention and care of the head of state during the past years, the Academy was formed as a modern educational institution.

The Minister recalled the numerous and large-scale projects implemented by the Heydar Aliyev Foundation for the development of our national education and talked about their importance.

The Minister said that thanks to the state's care, there are comprehensive conditions at the Academy of the Ministry for the training of high-level personnel and expressed his confidence that the cadets will take advantage of these conditions to acquire deep knowledge and serve a stronger and more powerful Azerbaijan with dignity, and wished success to the graduates and cadets.

Then the parent, Galib Mammadov congratulated the graduates and cadets on behalf of the parents, wished them success and thanked for the excellent conditions created at the Academy.

At the event, diplomas were presented to the graduates who were awarded the military and special ranks of "lieutenant" by the relevant order of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

Lieutenant Amil Mirzayev, who graduated from the Academy with excellent marks, took the oath on behalf of his fellow graduates by placing the commemorative plaque, which is a symbol of the graduation of Academy graduates, on the "Age stump".

The graduates handed over the flag of the Academy to the 4th year cadets.

The ceremony ended with the ceremonial march of personnel under the flag of the Academy of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.
