Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov meets with Ambassador of Republic of Tajikistan to our country

Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilkhom Abdurakhmon.

Warmly welcoming the ambassador, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov reminded that relations between Azerbaijan and Tajikistan are characterized by fraternity and friendship. In this context, the minister expressed his confidence that the meeting with the ambassador will be useful in terms of expanding relations between relevant agencies of the two countries for combating emergency situations.

Minister K. Heydarov gave detailed information to the guest about the work done to prevent emergencies in our country and eliminate their consequences and spoke about the existing potential for developing cooperation between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and relevant state agencies of the Republic of Tajikistan. At the same time, the prospects for cooperation between the MES Academy and relevant state agencies and educational institutions of Tajikistan on the issues of training and education of highly qualified specialists in this field were noted.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to Republic of Azerbaijan, Ilkhom Abdurakhmon emphasized that relations between the two countries are constantly expanding. In this context, the ambassador spoke about the mutual benefit of developing relations between the relevant agencies of the two countries in the field of preventing emergencies and eliminating their consequences, and noted that he would spare no efforts in this direction.

An extensive exchange of views on issues of mutual interest was held during the meeting.
