Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov meets with the Ambassador of Belarus
Minister of Emergency Situations Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Dmitry Pinevich, the newly appointed Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to our country.
During the meeting, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov, who conveyed his sincere congratulations to the guest on his appointment as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to the Republic of Azerbaijan, recalled, that the rapid and comprehensive development of Azerbaijan-Belarus relations, that historically stemmed from the principles of friendship and mutual respect, have been based on the far-sighted policy and mutual trust of the heads of our states in recent years.
Kamaladdin Heydarov provided the guest with detailed information about the work carried out in the field of emergency management in our country and spoke about the close relations of cooperation with the relevant bodies of Belarus in this area.
He noted, that the cooperation agreement signed between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus in Minsk in October 2006, has been of great importance in establishing and developing relations between the agencies. Stating that relations in various areas of struggling with emergencies, including training and education, are constantly expanding, the Minister spoke about the successful implementation of the Comprehensive Action Plan covering 2025-2027, signed during his official visit to Belarus in June last year.
Expressing gratitude for the cordial meeting, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Azerbaijan Dmitry Pinevich emphasized that the relations of the heads of our states, based on mutual trust and respect, are of fundamental importance in deepening relations between our countries in various directions. In this context, the ambassador emphasized the mutual benefit of further expanding of the relations between the relevant agencies of the two countries in the field of preventing emergencies and eliminating their consequences, and noted that he would spare no effort in this direction.
Issues of mutual interest were discussed at the meeting.
