Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italy to our country

The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italian Republic to our country, Luca Di Gianfrancesco.

Warmly welcoming Ambassador Luca Di Gianfrancesco, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov recalled that the relations between Azerbaijan and Italy are founded on the principles of friendship and mutual respect, and noted that the multifaceted cooperation between the two countries is rapidly expanding.

The Minister provided the ambassador with detailed information on the work done in emergency management in our country and the activities of the agencies within the Ministry’s structure, and spoke about the prospects for cooperation between the relevant agencies of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Republic of Italy in the field of combating emergency situations.

Expressing his gratitude for the warm welcome, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Italian Republic to our country, Luca Di Gianfrancesco stated that relations between the two countries are constantly developing. In this context, he spoke about the mutual benefit of relations between relevant agencies in the field of preventing emergencies and eliminating their consequences.

A broad exchange of views was held on issues of mutual interest during the meeting.
