Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov met with members of MES teams who achieved high results at III World Corporate Games (video, photo)

On June 23, Minister of Emergency Situations, Colonel General Kamaladdin Heydarov, met with members of the Ministry’s men's volleyball team, the MES men's basketball team that competed in the 3x3 basketball tournament, and the table tennis team, all of whom represented our country with distinction and achieved high results at the III World Corporate Games held in Casablanca, Kingdom of Morocco.

Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov congratulated the members of the Ministry’s teams for their outstanding performances and high achievements at the III World Corporate Games held in Casablanca, Kingdom of Morocco, from June 5 to 7, 2026, and wished them new successes in future competitions.

Reminding that the attention and care shown to sports in our country is one of the main directions of the policy determined by the National Leader Heydar Aliyev, Minister K. Heydarov stated that great achievements have been achieved in many areas of sports as a result of the progressive policy pursued by the President of Azerbaijan, Mr. Ilham Aliyev. Minister K. Heydarov said that today Azerbaijan is known all over the world as a sports country and spoke in detail about the importance of the historical achievements of our country in the field of sports. In this context, the Minister noted that the athletes and employees of the MES have consistently shown high results in various international competitions and tournaments, representing our country worthily, and wished them success in future competitions.

It should be recalled that at the III World Corporate Games, where about 1500 athletes from 180 teams in various sports tested their strength, the men's volleyball team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the men's basketball team of the MES, competing in the 3x3 basketball competitions, won gold medals. In the table tennis competition, an MES employee was awarded a bronze medal.
