Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov met with Minister of Emergency Situations of Belarus Vadim Sinyavsky (video, photo)

Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Kamaladdin Heydarov, who is on a visit to Belarus, met with the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus, Major General of the Internal Service Vadim Sinyavsky.

Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov expressed his gratitude for the hospitality shown during the visit at the meeting held at the Belarus MES Security Education Center and reminded that the multifaceted relations between our peoples and countries had risen to the level of strategic partnership as a result of the efforts of the President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko, based on political foresight and mutual trust. He noted that close cooperation relations were formed between the Ministries of Emergency Situations of the two countries in the field of emergency management, as well as in other directions. Minister K. Heydarov emphasized that there are good opportunities for further expansion of relations and expressed confidence that this visit and the corresponding document to be signed within the visit will give an impetus to the deepening of relations between two countries.

Kamaladdin Heydarov congratulated his Belarusian colleague on the occasion of his election as the Chairman of the Interstate CIS Interstate Council for Natural and Man-made Emergency Situations and wished him success in his work.

The Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus Vadim Sinyavsky expressed his sincere gratitude to the Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan Kamaladdin Heydarov for his participation at the 36th meeting of CIS Interstate Council for Natural and Man-made Emergency Situations and 2nd International Security Industry Exhibition "National Security. Belarus-2024" held in Minsk and his congratulations.

The Belarusian Minister expressed his satisfaction with the formation of high-level relations between the two institutions in the field of fighting emergency situations within the framework of cooperative relations that are expanding year by year thanks to the purposeful activities of the heads of states between the two friendly countries. He emphasized that mutual visits and discussions are useful for further expansion of relations.

At the meeting, a wide range of views were exchanged on the issues of mutual interest.

Then the signing ceremony of the "Comprehensive Plan of Actions for 2025-2027 on the implementation of the Cooperation Agreement between the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Belarus signed on October 17, 2006 in Minsk” was held. The Comprehensive Plan was signed by Minister of Emergency Situations of Azerbaijan Kamaladdin Heydarov and Minister of Emergency Situations of Belarus Vadim Sinyavsky.

Minister K. Heydarov familiarized himself with the activities of the Belarus MES Security Education Center and wrote his heartfelt words in the memorial book.

Later, Minister Kamaladdin Heydarov met with the Azerbaijan MES employees studying at the Civil Defense University of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Belarus and wished them success.

Within the framework of the visit, Azerbaijan MES delegation got acquainted with the activities of Belarusian institutions, as well as local enterprises producing fire-rescue techniques and equipment.
