Ministry of Emergency Situations and State Border Service held joint exercise (video, photo)

The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and the "N" military unit of the State Border Service jointly organized an exercise.

The exercise was held at the military unit "N". The relevant personnel and equipment of the State Fire Control Service, State Fire Protection Service and Special Risky Rescue Service of the MES were involved in the exercise.

The aim of the exercise was to instill in the military unit's personnel the rules of behavior in case of emergencies, including fires, to further improve the activities of fire protection units, and to enhance the professional rescue skills of the employees.

During the theoretical part of the event, MES employees provided detailed information on the necessary rules of behavior and evacuation measures during emergencies, including fires. In addition, the exercise participants were demonstrated the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment and their questions were answered.

In the practical part of the exercise, after the "Alarm" signal was given regarding a simulated fire, the Unit's employees and soldiers carried out initial intervention on the simulated fire, while the MES fire protection units promptly arrived at the scene, evacuated "victims from the dangerous area", conducted rapid reconnaissance at the "fire" site, and "extinguished the fire".
