The "112" hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received preliminary information about a fire in a restaurant in Ahmadli settlement, Khatai district, Baku.

In connection with the information, the fire protection units of the Ministry's State Fire Protection Service were involved according the call.

Firefighting operations are currently underway.

During the past day, 2 rescue operations were carried out by the relevant rescue forces of the Ministry based on the appeals received by the “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations regarding being stuck in an elevator in Baku. As a result of the rescue measures carried out, 2 people were provided with appropriate assistance.

A wooden covering of a wagon with a total area of 80 sq. m caught fire in the village of Gusarchay, Khachmaz district. The substation was protected from fire. The fire was extinguished by fire protection brigades.
