MES Baku Regional Center holds exemplary lesson at National Aviation Academy

Baku Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an exemplary lesson on the theme "Organization of population protection during emergencies" at the National Aviation Academy.

The aim of the lesson was to increase teachers' and students' knowledge on rules of behavior in case of emergency situations and civil defense and to take measures to prevent fire accidents or explosions that may occur at educational facilities.

The lesson was attended by employees of the MES relevant units and university staff.

Making a keynote speech Dean of the "Transportation Technologies" Faculty of the National Aviation Academy Nazim Naghiyev emphasized the importance of such educational events for both the teaching staff and students.

Then, Deputy Head of the MES Baku Regional Center Najaf Novruzov spoke about the attention paid to the safety of the population at the state level in Azerbaijan, the work done in this direction, and the importance of organization of various educational and exemplary events.

Then, the Ministry's employees provided general information to the event participants about the basic principles of civil defense, emergencies, and rules of behavior related to them and demonstrated photo slides and videos on the topic.

Questions of students were answered at the event.
