MES employees participated in international exercise

Employees of the Special Risky Rescue Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations participated in the “Türkiye-Azerbaijan-Georgia SAR Exercise-2026” held in Ankara, Türkiye, and organized by the Ministry of National Defence of the Republic of Türkiye.

The aim of the exercise was to improve the skills of working together between search and rescue units and personnel of friendly countries, organize mutual exchange of experience, and familiarize themselves with the most modern approaches in the field of search and rescue.

During the exercise, an operation was carried out to organize the search and rescue of “victims” trapped under debris in the area where the simulated earthquake occurred.

At the end of the successfully conducted exercise, MES rescuers were awarded relevant certificates by the organizers.
