MES Ganja Regional Center holds "round table" in Gazakh district

The Ganja Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a round table on the topic of “Organization of mutual activity in preventing emergencies and eliminating their consequences” in Gazakh district.

The meeting was attended by responsible officials of the relevant local bodies of the Ministry, the Gazakh District Executive Authority, and departments, enterprises and organizations operating in the region, as well as municipalities.

Making a keynote speech, the Head of Sector of the Office of the Head of the Gazakh District Executive Authority Azad Humbatov spoke about the importance of the event and emphasized the significance of mutual activity in combating emergencies.

Then, Deputy Head of the MES Ganja Regional Center, Lieutenant Colonel Rauf Abbasov, gave a detailed information on implementing information exchange during the elimination of consequences of emergency situations, the current state of the organization of mutual activities in carrying out rescue and other urgent activities, the work done in this area, problems and ways to solve them.

At the event, other speakers emphasized the importance of awareness-raising activities related to natural and man-made emergencies and made relevant proposals for the prevention of disasters.

Questions of the participants were answered at the end of the event.
