MES Sumgayit Regional Center holds exercise

The Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an exercise on the theme “Eliminating the consequences of emergencies at industrial enterprises” at “Giltex” LLC.

Employees of both the Sumgayit Regional Center and “Giltex” LLC attended the exercise.

The aim of the exercise was to enhance the knowledge and skills of rescuers in combating possible emergencies, including conducting rescue operations during accidents at industrial areas, to improve the effective management skills of rescue team commanders during incidents, and to provide enterprise employees with relevant knowledge about the rules of behavior during emergencies.

During the exercise, the "injured" who were left helpless in a simulated industrial accident were rescued using special equipment and provided with first aid.

At the end, the results of the exercise were analyzed, and relevant tasks were assigned.
