The members of the International Search and Rescue Unit of the Ministry of Emergency Situations participated in "Earthquake Response Exercise"

The "Earthquake Response Exercise" was held in Tunis, the capital of the Republic of Tunisia, organized by the Secretariat of the International Search and Rescue Advisory Group (INSARAG) of the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (UN OCHA) and the supported by the National Office for Civil Protection (ONPC) of Tunisia. The training aimed to enhance the preparedness of INSARAG-classified international search and rescue teams for international humanitarian operations, ensure the coordination of search and rescue operations under a unified system during disasters and foster collaboration among search and rescue teams.

Professional experts and delegations from international search and rescue teams representing 22 countries participated in the training, including four members of the International Search and Rescue Team of the Ministry of Emergency Situations.

During the training, representatives from the Ministry of Emergency Situations participated as part of the "Exercise Control" (EXCON) team and as members International Search and Rescue Unit of the Republic of Azerbaijan.

At the conclusion of the training, participants were awarded certificates.
