The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information about a fire in the section of the basement where electricity meters are installed in a high-rise residential building in Narimanov district of Baku city.
In response to the information, the forces of the MES State Fire Protection Service were immediately involved in the site.
Thanks to the prompt intervention of firefighters, the fire was extinguished in a short time, preventing it from spreading.
As a result of the fire, 93 electricity meters and disconnectors, and 2 electrical regulators burned in the electrical room with a total area of 10 sq m.
The residential building and apartments were protected from the fire.
