MES held a series of awareness-raising events on forest fire safety

The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, in accordance with its powers, continues to take necessary measures to ensure fire safety throughout the country.

In this context, the Ministry's State Fire Control Service held awareness-raising events on forest fire safety in the Tangarud, Sighirli, Aghjabadi, Beylagan, Soltanbut-2 and Shamkir forestries of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as in Regional Forestry Enterprise No. 15, and in the Samur-Yalama National Park in Yalama village of Khachmaz district.

The events were attended by responsible employees of the Regional Forestry Enterprise centers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, authorized representatives of the administrative territorial divisions of the executive authorities of the regions where the aforementioned forestry enterprises are located, as well as local entrepreneurs.

Detailed information was given on the current state of fire safety in forests and surrounding areas, especially on preventive measures taken to prevent possible fires in the upcoming summer season during the events. It was also noted that fire safety rules must be strictly followed to prevent fires in forests and surrounding areas.

Questions were answered, a broad exchange of views was held on the topic, and the creation of a safety strip by plowing 6-8 meters wide fields in forest areas using special techniques was demonstrated to the participants during the events.
