MES State Fire Control Service keeps fire safety of cereals and industrial crops in focus

The State Fire Control Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, within its competence, continues to take necessary measures to ensure fire safety throughout the country, including raising public awareness on fire safety.

With the view of ensuring fire safety while collecting, delivering, storing and processing cereals and industrial crops, the State Fire Control Service held awareness-raising events in Jalilabad, Tartar, Yevlakh, Shamkir, Barda, Goranboy, Ujar, Aghjabadi, Beylagan, Aghdam and Tovuz districts.

The events were attended by senior officials of executive authorities of the mentioned districts, employees of the State Agrarian Development Center, municipal chairmen, representatives of the Regional Forestry Centers of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources and "Agroservis" OJSC, and local entrepreneurs.

Issues on ensuring fire safety while collecting, delivering, storing, and processing cereals and industrial crops, as well as timely cleaning of dry grass, shrubs and household waste in open areas in the districts were raised before the relevant organizations and the rules of fire safety were explained. The importance of conducting awareness-raising activities by local government authorities among the population in this area was also highlighted.

During the events, extensive discussions were held on the topic, necessary recommendations were provided, and participants' questions were answered.
