MES State Fire Protection Service held another "Open Door Day" event

The State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations organized another "Open Door Day" event at Binagadi district Fire Protection Unit.

Minors and teachers of the “Nur” kindergarten attended the event. The aim of the event was to support the comprehensive development of children, help them grow up healthy both physically and morally, instill in them a culture of safe living and basic fire-safety skills and increase their awareness about professional activities of firefighters.

At the "Open Door Day" event, participants were provided with detailed information about the daily routine of firefighters and the activities of the units, and they were demonstrated the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment and part of the employees' daily training.

The children also got acquainted with the necessary firefighting and other rescue techniques and equipment used in emergencies. They also were informed about the rules of safe behavior during emergencies.

The questions of the children were answered during the event.

MES Sumgayit Regional Center held exercise

The Sumgayit Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held an exercise on the topic of "Rescuing victims stranded on water attractions" at the "My Beach" recreation center in Novkhani settlement of Absheron district The aim of the exercise was to increase the knowledge and skills of rescuers on the rules for organizing and conducting rescue operations, including the evacuation of helpless victims on water attractions, as well as to improve the effective management skills of rescue team commanders during incidents
