Conferences on "Ensuring safety in water bodies" were held

Conferences on the topic of “Ensuring safety in water bodies” were held in Khazar, Sabunchu, and Garadagh districts of Baku, organized by the State Service for Control over Small-Sized Vessels and Water Rescue of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, with the participation of representatives of the Baku Regional Center.

The conferences were attended by officials from regional executive authorities and administrative territorial representations, municipalities, police and education departments, emergency medical aid units, local hygiene and epidemiology centers, and other relevant institutions.

At the events, information was given on the results of the monitoring activities conducted in the water bodies located within the territories of the mentioned districts, the identified deficiencies were displayed with photo slides and ways to eliminate them were widely discussed.

Speakers at the conferences also provided information on the rules for ensuring the safety of citizens on beaches during the summer season, the current state of awareness-raising activities, and relevant safety measures implemented in water bodies across the country.
