MES suspended operation of another gas filling station (video, photo)

State Agency for Safe Working in Industry and Mountain-Mining Control of the Ministry of Emergency Situations continues to take the necessary measures within its authority to ensure safety in industry and mining operations.

In this context, the Agency's inspectors conducted a planned inspection at a gas filling station owned by entrepreneur Mehdiyev Sardar Rahbar oglu, operating in Zaraghan settlement of Gabala district.

During the inspection, a number of violations were identified that posed a threat to human life and health.

Thus, it was determined that the internal inspection and hydraulic testing of the two liquefied gas tanks operated at the gas filling station were not conducted, rubber hoses and other equipment used during the unloading of liquefied gas from tankers to stationary containers and filling of cylinders were not periodically inspected, and the grounding resistance of the building and equipment of the gas filling station was not measured.

Taking into account that the identified violations could not be immediately eliminated and posed a threat to human life and health, the operation of the gas filling station was suspended by the Agency’s employees, and a copy of the act drawn up to eliminate the violations was handed to the entrepreneur.
