The “112” hotline of the Ministry of Emergency Situations received information that, in the direction of the Bazarduzu peak of the Greater Caucasus Mountains in the Guba district, a mountaineer had fallen from a steep cliff and was left injured, helpless, and in a dangerous situation requiring assistance.

In response to the information, a team of professional mountaineers and rescuers of the MES Special Risky Rescue Service was immediately deployed to the scene.

While assessing the operational conditions at the scene, it was determined that Jafarov Altay Agshin oglu, born in 2000, had fallen from a cliff at an altitude of approximately 3500-3800 meters above sea level in the direction of the Bazarduzu peak of the Greater Caucasus Mountains, sustained various degrees of bodily injuries and was in a life-threatening condition.

Thanks to the operational rescue measures carried out by the mountaineering team of the Special Risky Rescue Service, A. Jafarov, who was in a dangerous situation, was provided with first aid on the spot, evacuated from the difficult mountainous area, and handed over to the emergency medical team.
