MES Mughan Regional Center held events on forest fire safety in Salyan and Sabirabad districts

The Mughan Regional Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations conducted theoretical and practical training sessions on the topic "Measures to be taken for the prevention of forest fires" in the section of the Shirvan National Park located within the territory of Salyan district and in Mamishlar village of Sabirabad district.

The events were attended by responsible officials of the relevant local bodies of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, as well as representatives of local executive and self-government authorities and local residents.

The speakers emphasized the relevance of the topic and highlighted the importance of taking preventive measures to avoid forest fires, as well as expanding public awareness activities aimed at combating such emergencies. They also stressed the need for citizens engaged in agricultural activities in forests and green areas, including entrepreneurs and residents of nearby villages, to be careful with fire and strictly follow fire safety rules.

Following the training sessions the extinguishment of a simulated forest fire was demonstrated, involving personnel and equipment from the local units of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources.
