MES State Fire Protection Service held fire-tactical exercise (photo)

The State Fire Protection Service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations held a fire-tactical exercise on the theme "Rules of behavior and evacuation during emergencies" at Barda Cotton Production and Processing Plant of “Azerpambiq ASK” LLC.

The relevant personnel and equipment of the MES were involved in the exercise. The aim of the exercise was to instill in the staff of the plant the rules of behavior in case of emergencies, including fires, as well as to further improve the activities of fire protection units in case of possible fires at such facilities.

In the theoretical part of the exercise, the plant staff was provided with detailed information about the necessary rules of behavior during emergencies, including fires, and evacuation measures, and their questions were answered.

In the practical part of the exercise, after the "Alarm" signal was given regarding a simulated fire, the forces and means belonging to the Fire Protection Units of Barda, Yevlakh, Aghdam and Tartar districts promptly arrived at the scene and began "fire fighting" measures. In accordance with the evacuation plan in the plant where the simulated fire occurred, employees were evacuated to a safe place, "first aid" was provided to the simulated injured, and the "fire was extinguished in a short time".

A total of 25 employees and 5 units of equipment were involved in the exercise.

After the successfully conducted exercise, the results obtained were discussed, and relevant tasks were assigned.
