Ministry of Emergency Situations' next appeal to population regarding safety rules on beaches
Despite the mass awareness-raising efforts carried out by the Ministry of Emergency Situations, including repeated appeals about the dangers of swimming in windy weather and in non-beach areas, it must be noted with regret that the indifference of some people to safety rules ultimately leads to tragic consequences.
The information received yesterday regarding a drowning incident that occurred in windy weather conditions and in an unsupervised area known as "Dachnik" in Bilgah settlement of Sabunchu district of the capital once again demonstrates the necessity of complying with safety rules.
Taking into account the above-mentioned, the Ministry of Emergency Situations once again appeals to peoples to strictly observe beach safety rules, and reminds of the danger of entering the sea in windy weather, swimming in non-beach areas, and the importance of following the calls and requests of rescuers.
Remember: Indifference to the rules is a threat to our lives!
Call 112 in case of danger!
