Statistics on natural and man-made disasters

During the 1st quarter of the year 2015, 1386 natural and man-made disasters have occurred in the territory of the republic which is 747 events or 35% less than the 1st quarter of the year 2014. As a result of natural and man-made disasters 17 people have died, 43 people have been injured. 22 people have been rescued and 249 people have been evacuated by the rescue workers of the ministry.

Statistics on fires

During the 1st quarter of the year 2015, 1336 fire calls were performed on various calls received for the elimination of the fires occurred:

• Fires in apartment buildings and individual residential houses – 396 fire calls;
• Fires in open areas – 429 fire calls;
• Fires in vehicles – 83 fire calls;
• Other fires – 428 fire calls;

During fire incidents, 16 people have died, 34 people have been injured which is 6 people or 21% more than the people injured during fire in the 1st quarter of the past year. During the fire-fighting 5 people have been rescued and 233 people have been evacuated to safer areas.

Statistics on explosions

During the 1st quarter of the year 2015, 7 explosions have occurred in the territory of the republic which is 9 explosions or 56% less than the 1st quarter of the year 2014. During the explosions, 1 person has died and 9 people have been injured.
